Hygiene: Once an intimate wellness product has been used, it can harbor bacteria and other microorganisms that could be harmful to someone else. Accepting returns and potentially reselling those products could put new customers at risk of infection or allergic reactions.

Safety: Some intimate wellness products, like vibrators, toys, etc. can contain delicate or complex mechanisms that could be damaged during use or cleaning.
